If you’re on this page I’m to assume that you’ve gone through the process as set out in steps 1 through to 7 on this site; that you’ve also tried the hard-drive reset and the fault with your PlayStation console hasn’t been corrected? If you haven’t gone through steps 1 to 7, I’d recommend doing so as it may help fix your problem.
If after following the suggested troubleshooting steps recommended on this site, your PS3 problem has still not been fixed, then it’s likely that your PS3 requires a more detailed service repair from a fully qualified PS3 technician.
Repairs that ultimately require opening up PS3 consoles is beyond the scope of the advice we can provide here as we cannot take responsibility for any damage however caused from opening up the console. However, if:
- Your PS3 is out of warranty
- You don’t want to pay $200 plus
- You don’t want to wait 6 weeks or more
- You want the best chance of fixing your PS3 fast
Then, I’d recommend the services of Rob Sheffield, who was a massive help to me when I was having problems with my PS3 a little over a year ago.
Who is Rob Sheffield?
|Rob Sheffield is a professional PS3 repairman based out in Aussie Land. He’s been fixing PS3s for the last 4 to 5 years ever since PS3 were released and I can highly recommend his service.|
Having noticed that more and more PS3 owners were having the same problems with their PS3 consoles, he set out on his own with a bespoke service to help PS3 owners just like you and me, to get consoles fixed quickly, cheaply and easily, without the huge expense that both Sony and many service centers were asking.
Rob Sheffield set up the world’s first and certified repair program that has helped countless PS3 customers fix their broken PS3. That’s how I came across Rob Sheffield.
There are now a slew of copycat services on the market based on what Rob has done, that promise to repair your PS3. His service was the first and in my opinion the most trustworthy.
Why I like Rob Sheffield’s PS3 fix service is because it’s so comprehensive and if any service can fix your PS3 cheaply, it’s his service. In addition to model specific troubleshooting manuals, you get:-
- Detailed video walk-throughs
- 24/7 access to a constantly updated members area where you can access all tools and DIY Kits.
- 24/7 Customer Support for one-on-one help via email and phone.
- The same repair methods as used by Sony.
- Excellent service that claims to be able to fix any PS3 problem known to man!
Personally, I’ve come to the realization that until Sony gets its act together and comes out with a console that is a lot more reliable, we’re stuck with a ps3 that’s prone to breakdown.
Now I don’t know about you but I’m not going to be paying Sony $200 a pop every time something goes wrong with my PS3!
With Rob’s service you get access to Customer Support and detailed repair videos and manuals at anytime. That kind of service is unrivaled and shows Rob’s commitment to wanting to help. In my opinion his service is way too cheap for what you get.
